jennifer jazz aka Jen Jefferson is a recipient of The Bronx Council on the Arts BRIO Award, the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund for Feminists in the Arts, and The William C. Woolson Memorial Award for Excellence in the Literary Arts. She’s the author of Bronx Brazil: A Foreign Movie and played the role of Virginia in the 1996 film, Rescuing Desire.
